brief history: Rylee was born in Pennsylvania, but her family relocated to Oakbrook when she was young and settled in West Oak because of the amount of money they make. Her father got a job as a school teacher at West Brook Elementary and has since moved himself up to high school level. Her parents are very hardworking and love each other, but that isn't enough to make Rylee feel okay with where she is in life, as if she's being punished for not being wealthy.
She's fairly close with her siblings, even if Vivian nearly drives her mad (although she is the only other girl). She was particularly close with James who is away at college and who also gave her the video camera she calls her baby. 
When Rylee was fourteen, her oldest brother, Ben, went missing. Panic spread chaos throughout the household as they had no idea where he was and when the police came to the door saying they'd found Ben, it would have been a relief, if he hadn't been found dead. The story was really covered up after the murders the town is already known for and the newspaper released a story about how drugs had ended his life. Rylee knows it's bullshit, but nobody will tell her anything.[/ul][/blockquote]
