The only person to survive the massacre was Alayna's father who fortunately (unfortunately?) was away studying at Yale at the time. Because he was 19, he inherited the Lockwood name and wealth and married Sara, a successful, driven businesswoman. Together, they restarted the Lockwood namesake, much to the chagrin of West Oak. In East Oak, the Lockwoods are one of the richer, enviable families who hold a lot of power and influence in Oakbrook.

rp sample: Alayna impatiently tapped her toes against the pavement, sighing. "Excuse me, where's the manager?" She loudly asked, the surrounding people rolling their eyes. Alayna, frankly, didn't care if she looked like a bitch. Lockwoods never waited in line. For anything. The bodyguard, who looked like he was asleep, opened his eyes and nearly choked.



"Sorry Ms Lockwood, have a great night." He said, letting her inside the dark club.



The flashing lights pulsed around Alayna, as if to great her to the club. For as long as she could remember, Alayna got in, free of charge and without legal I.D. The perks of being the elite, rich and famous in Oakbrook. She used it to her advantage, frequenting the place to flirt with boys, get drinks free of charge as well as advertise any upcoming shows.



Alayna smoothed out her impeccable blonde hair, a beaming white smile on her face. Confident, and bold, Alayna closely brushed by one boy who looked immediately flustered afterwards. She smirked. Her tight, black bodycon dress left little the imagination and flattered her seemingly perfect curves. Her skin, flawless. Hair, perfectly in place. The latest Manolo Blahnik shoes that weren't even available for sale yet. Alayna smugly walked through the club, the crowds of people parting almost immediately.



Being a Lockwood definitely had its perks.
